Denmark Sanchez from Marikina City inherited the catering business of his mother named Nitas Kusinas sa Tayug, which was established in 1997. Due to the perseverance of his mother, the business grew steadily. Denmarks specialty is Dinakdakan, a native appetizer with lots of pig parts in it. Denmark loves cooking native food such as catfish with vegetables, and offers a reasonable price compared to competitors. They also provide food to pick up intended for call center agents in Mandaluyong City.
At present, Denmark employs 8 workers, mostly out of school youth and his own relatives and offers them weekly salary and free lodging. He also gives food to the church as a donation, which the company offers since its inception 17 years ago.
He would like to expand the business to cater more customers who come from different regions. Together with Lendahands partner NPFC is helping Denmark Sanchez in acquiring additional working capital business expansion. The loan will be repaid in 12 months.
