Ms Manda Sokoni is running a restaurant supplies business in one of the busy peri-urban markets in Lusaka. The business supplies Styrofoam cups and plates, plastic spoons, forks, knives, packaging material,drinks and packs of meats to restaurants in the area. It has been running since 2010 and has 4 full time employees including herself. the company has been slowly growing due to capital challenges.
The goal of the loan is to increase stock and purchase and additional freezer for the meat packs to meet the growing needs of her clientelle.
Lendahand will provide the loan to Manda together with local partner AMZ. The loan has to be repaid in 12 months.
