In the province of Cavite is where Marie Ann Mondelo resides. She was unable to finish her schooling where she took Engineering course and a single mother of five children. She used to work as a sales lady before starting a business. She solely owns “Maexel Chi-Cha Bites and Food Products” that is duly registered under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Its operation started in 2006, a total of nine years in operation and continuously counting. Fully engaged in food products, like cassave chips, biscuits, and others. But among these products she focuses on Chicharon making which made it as her main product. She does processing, packaging / repacking, and food delivery to its regular clients and supermarkets in Manila, Cebu, and Davao together with the help of her outlets in mentioned provinces. She also actively joins exhibits as her marketing strategy.

Marie employs 26 out-of-school-youth including senior citizen. This is composed of ten male and 16 female, provided with weekly salary, foods, living quarters, and benefits. There are also 30 on-call workers if needed in the production. Marie will be needing working capital loan to purchase thousand kilos of skin pork for chicharon making to meet clients’ demand. 

NPFC and Lendahand will provide this loan to Mary Ann. The loan has to be repaid in 12 months.
