Making paper mache was Ms. Agana’s family business, which she assumed and continued. Using old newspapers and magazines, they make paper mache Christmas figurines and other decorations. The business started with only Ms. Agana and her husband making the items, but as a result of good sales, they hired employees, most of which are their neighbors. They sell their products to various areas in the Philippines such as Divisoria, Quiapo, Batangas and Cavite. Ms. Agana, was referred to NPFC by an existing client. She borrowed from NPFC to augment her working capital for the increased orders brought about by the upcoming holiday season.
