Espoir is an Ecuadorian NGO established in 1992. This microfinance institution elevates the lives of microentrepreneurs, particularly women, through their community banking initiative launched in 2002. They offer a combination of microloans, business education, and health services. Prioritizing the support of women, who are often left out by traditional financial systems. 

Espoir's commitment and approach have yielded significant results. The microfinance institution provides nearly 89,000 loans each year, totaling over 110 million dollars. By June 2023, they had supported 48,927 clients, and 72% of them were women. Their efforts underscore their dedication to financial inclusion and their goal of driving development and improving living conditions in Ecuador.
