      In the coming period there are different conditions for this partner. 

      • The interest rate has been temporarily increased by 0,5 percentage point to accommodate the growing uncertainty associated with COVID-19.
      • In addition, this investee is allowed - provided they continue to comply with the applicable covenants - to refinance future repayments to Lendahand investors with the funds raised from this project.
      • Repayments occur after 12, 18 and 24 months, not after 6 months (grace period).

      With this loan of EUR 85,200 local partner Milaap will be able to provide working capital to 170 women entrepreneurs via their fieldpartners. It concerns mainly women with a weaving enterprise, a little shop or handicrafts.

      Milaap is the largest crowdfunding platform in India, enabling stories of hope, courage, and change. They provide credit services to the poor and excluded to help them to work themselves out of poverty.

      Milaap partners with a range of credit-worthy field partners who hold a strong social mission. They grant loans for energy projects, water access, artisan supply chains, and more, mostly in rural areas. Many of their projects empower women entrepreneurs, mainly providing working capital to women with a weaving enterprise, small shops, or handicrafts.
