SECOND LOAN

Niña Stephanie Caballes of Cebu, inherited her parent’s dried fish and pasalubong business in 1995. She named it “Caballes Dried Fish Supply and Pasalubong”, which was named next to her married surname and where the business she is engaged in. Different dried fish are sold in her store together with food gifts or ‘pasalubong’ which are supplied by local fishermen in the Philippine island. Her products are sold either wholesale or retail, depending on the buyer.

From her first loan to NPFC, she has retained her six regular workers. Two additional are hired that serves as sales lady / man in her shop. Those who are elementary graduates are employed by her. Due to limited income that the workers received, Niña provides them snacks and shelter for a living.

An additional working capital is needed by Niña to continuously serve her regular buyers, including walk-in. Lendahand will provide this loan to Niña together with its local partner NPFC.
