Jenelyn Ortonero was born and raised in Alfonso, Cavite. She is married to Arthur with whom she has three children. She start her business in year 2000, while she was still single. She established “Jenelyn Kudkuran at Pigaan ng Niog”, that is now operating for 15 years. When she got married, her spouse assists her with the business. Jenelyn maintains two stalls in two different public market in Cavite, one in Alfonso, and the other is located in Mendez. 

She caters walk-in buyers and supplies some public markets in Imus Cavite, Blumentrit and Divisoria Manila, Quezon City, and some in Bulacan, which are her clear market. Coconuts are bought to farmers which creates an indirect employment, and an additional income for the farmers family. Coconuts are further process by Jenelyn, by squeezing and grinding it. Process coconut milks are delivered as bulk orders to some restaurants in Cavite. The daily operation of the business let Jenelyn employ five regular out of school youth, whom she pay on a monthly basis, and gives them free meal and bonus. Next to coconut milk, she is also engaged in charcoal trading that are also sold in her stalls. 

Lendahand will provide the loan to Jenelyn together with local partner NPFC. The loan will be repaid in 12 months.
