Das Projekt

Clarisa and Mario are couples based in Cebu province. They have a business that is engaged in wholesale and retail of dried fish and local cebuano delicacies. It was inherited by Clarisa from her parents who passed away in 1990. They named the business as “Clar and Mar Trading” which comes from the first three letters of the couple’s names. Products sold in their store are purchased from fishermen and food manufacturers from Bantayan Island, Leyte, and Zamboanga. It has proven to be productive because she was able to have regular customers where she supplies her products in Bohol province. She also accepts walk-in buyers.

Clarisa has six (6) regular workers, where some of them has a total of ten (10) years of tenure. All of them receives their weekly minimum wage, has statutory benefits, foods and living quarters to stay. In early 2016, the ‘51st International Eucharistic Congress’ will be held in Cebu, where Clarisa will join the event.

In connection with this, she will need working capital loan to purchase stocks in preparation ahead of time. To be provided by Lendahand and NPFC.
