Das Projekt

A group of homeless poor families who are now living in a relocation site in Tingub, Mandaue City with high sense of home ownership already are the evident proof of the Mandaue City Government in its sincere commitment for the poverty alleviation program for the urban poor communities.

As a follow through, a tripartite support coming from DOST, IPI Foundation, and JPIC (Justice, Peace, Integrity, and Creation) was given to the Ritazo Tingub Women Workers Association (RTWWA)composed of 16 women coming from the relocated poor families to start doing its business in 2006 by conducting skills trainings and capacity building and donating 7 units of sewing machines. Presently, the association is doing good and receiving bulk orders from local market.
