With United for Impact, the theme is clear: in the 2023 report, we highlight the unique collaboration between everyone contributing to positive change. We connect the data from our crowd's investments, the work of our borrowers, the dedication of our team, and the support of our shareholders.
2023 will go down in history as the year we celebrated our tenth anniversary. Wow, a decade of joint efforts bringing about real change!

Financial Inclusion
We welcomed microfinance institutions in no less than five new countries: East Timor, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Tonga, and Samoa.

Investing in Women-Led Businesses
In 2023, a whopping 64% of the end customers receiving loans from financial institutions were women. A great example of such an entrepreneur is Doribel from Nicaragua. Thanks to a loan from MiCrédito, she was able to improve her fruit and vegetable stall and collaborate with local farmers for better purchasing prices. In the report, we also share the stories of three other inspiring women: Teresia from Kenya, Farida from Kyrgyzstan, and Ilima from Tonga.
Supporting Jobs
Your investments through Lendahand supported over 40,000 jobs at small and medium-sized enterprises in emerging countries. These jobs range from informal and seasonal jobs to formal, permanent positions.
Sustainable Energy
The financing enabled the installation of 6,001 solar home systems and 6,739 biogas digesters, contributing to a cleaner environment and better quality of life.
Sustainable Agriculture
Our focus on sustainable agriculture has led to successful collaborations with coffee farmer cooperatives in Peru, supporting small family farms with extensive training and climate-resilient farming techniques.
