The project
Icos Paper Mache was established in year 1992 by Ester Ico and husband Salvador. Both couple worked in a handicraft business, before they decided to establish their own. They combined their experiences and ideas with the concept they wanted for their products. The couple came up with a unique design for their products, which is their edge against competitors. The business is engaged in emboss design of paper mache, and christmas decorations. For over 20 years, they are the only sub-contractor of Manex Handicrafts Inc., for the paper mache items.
Ester employs a total of 10 workers, with three sub-contractors, receiving a piece rate salary. Lendahand together with its local partner NPFC will help Ester to acquire working capital to boost its production.
