Individual investors accelerate sustainable transition

With the new partnership, Lendahand and Triodos Investment Management aim to connect more individual investors with impactful entrepreneurs in the energy and agriculture sectors to accelerate the sustainable transition in emerging countries.

Breakthrough in impact investing

Lendahand – a 10-year impact crowdfunding platform in the private domain – will be responsible for crowdfunding, communication with crowd investors, and transactions. Triodos Investment Management will assist in the selection and monitoring of loans, leveraging its experience in investing in emerging countries. It will mainly involve direct loans to high-impact investors, and all projects will focus on renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. The goal is to jointly invest in 10 to 15 projects per year.
