L.M.R. High Fashion
The project
Lorna M. Reyes worked for Moviestar Garments as a sewing supervisor for ten (10) years. While working as a supervisor, a neighbor was seeking help for her purchase order, with one sewing machine she started manufacturing garments. From then on, she start taking orders and producing garments adding income for the growing family of three (3)children. In 1995, she formalized the garment business and formed LMR High Fashion.
The fifty two (52) year old entrepreneur get sub-contracting orders from leading garment brads and have the products sold in malls nationwide. She now employs ten (10) seamstresses, all are housewives from the neighborhood. She plans to expand the production area at the second level of the building for more sewing machines and more workers.
Lendahand partners NPFC are helping LMR High Fashion to get more raw materials to boost up production and support for incoming orders.
