Lulay's Subcon
Teresa needs a loan of EUR 5,800 to be able to replace the old sewing machines in her clothing business.

From a simple employee to owner of a growing sub-con of clothing business, this is how Teresa Monzones started her business. In 1994, Ms. Monzones and her spouse decided to step out from their careers and set up their garments business - creating school uniforms and dress for kids and adults. With the craft they have chosen, they were able to employ some of their neighbors. At present, they employ 14 employees wherein they provide free accommodation and meals. In their desire to help their community, they granted 1 of their employees a full scholarship, and have the ambition to do the same for more employees.
Together with local partner NPFC Lendahand will support them by granting a loan intended to overhaul their sewing machines and additional working capital to meet the demands of their growing number of clients. The loan will be repaid in 18 months.
