Il progetto

Mary Ann Laput is a mother of ten (10) children. Me-an, as she is called by her friend, is very entrepreneur minded that she had never been employed. She was engaged in doing trade through buy and sells and even owns a bakery. When the family transferred to Manila in 2006 from Masbate, Me-an opened a business named Mars Stone Supply by starting as supplier of decorative stones and garden rocks with a capital of Php. 500.00 from their savings. She went onto this business since her husband grew up on the same business. And after four years, Mars Stone Supply was able to set up a physical store. The products are sold to areas like Marikina City, Antipolo City, Province of Laguna, and the Province of Cavite. Currently, Me-an is employing sixteen (16) workers where there is only one (1) female. The workers’ wages are either on a monthly or piece rate and are given free lodgings with free consumption of electricity and water. Me-an plans to expand her clientele and suppliers. Lendahand partner's NPFC is supporting Mars Stone Supply in acquiring additional working capital to boost the production and support for the incoming orders.
